The structure of GYFTC8Y optical cable is to place 250u optical fibers in a loose tube made of high modulus plastic. These pipes are filled with a waterproof filling material. FRP, as a non-metallic strength component, is located at the center of the core. The pipeline (and filler) is twisted into a compact circular cable core around the strength component. After wrapping with a water blocking tape, the stranded wire is used as the support part, and the structure shown in Figure 8 is completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath. This type of cable is specifically designed for self-sustaining overhead installation
